I used an X360 controller until the Xbox One was released, haven't looked back. The Xbox One controller is just that much more comfortable and accurate. It did need some tweaking of the deadzone setting ingame though.
I've used controllers on FFXI and FFXIV. I've gone through a few but seem to always go back to a wired Logitech Gamepad / rumblepad. Other controllers had reliability problems. I've tried wireless controllers but their performance has been horrible.
I use the 360 for PC controller

I'm rough on controllers in general. Started using the cheap PS3 knockoff's at Walmart--pretty much just plug and play. The Snakebyte's are dirt cheap, but the cords are flimsy and don't take long to short out (start hearing that USB disconnect sound when you move--not good in a boss fight).
The last one I got was the Rock Candy with the USB dongle. Probably gonna stick with them for a while---just move the dongle between systems (PC, two laptops, and a PS3). It's kinda nice having the 2nd controller for the console and I don't have to relearn to use it on the other systems. Got a set of Duracell rechargeables to use in it and it's held up rather well...except the battery contacts got loose. Plastic fin behind one of them cracked and one side slipped out of alignment. Went in with some JBweld and epoxied the bish in place and it's back in action again.

I used a PS3 controller with MotionInJoy for a long time. Found a better program, Better DS3, and used that with my PS3 controller for a while, but those programs weren't 100% reliable. I would have times when the controller would simply stop responding completely for around 1-3 seconds, which in a dungeon or a EX Primal fight, etc. is no good whatsoever. I eventually gave up on trying to use a bootleg work around, to not have to buy a PC controller, and went ahead about bought a Logitech F310 for like 20 bucks and am very happy with my purchase. It's been very reliable and works perfectly with no issues. When I have the money I'll be ordering a wireless Logitech controller but for now I'll stick with my F310.

Yeah MotionInJoy specifically states it doesn't support clone controllers(knockoffs, basically) and the "official" ones tend to be overpriced for something I likely won't use often or for anything else.

I use the Xbox 360 Wireless Controller with Transforming D-pad, best controller ever. Isn't a choice on the poll. It is so much better then the standard 360 controller cause the dpad is way more responsive and fells good.
I use an XBone controller on the PC. I'm not taking your damn survey, though. And FINALLY it looks like they're gonna be releasing a wireless adapter for PC in November, so huzzah and all that.
But yeah, the XBone controller is nice.

I use an Xbox One controller. I've also used the 360 controller. I can play with ps3/4 controllers without issue, they just feel too small in my hands now days.
