Need help with transfer

Hello,
Trying to surpise a friend with a world transfer so he can play with the rest of his friends but i cannot figure out how to pay for it for him. i do not want his account information or anything like that, just trying to help a friend and with luck time it for his birthday lol.

is there a way to pay for his transfer?

Give him a crysta card and say heres your transfer? Or prepaid card..or something like that? To my knowledge you can not gift a world transfer because it is done as soon as you submit the form. Assuming someone did not want the transfer it would be a big no-no to allow that option.

A Crysta card? i saw something about Crysta on the site but have no clue about it. I will look into this! My thanks

Just get a prepaid card/bank giftcard.
Your friend then would use it to buy Crysta, which in turn would use to pay for the transfer.

Log in your Mog Station or SE Account Manager (links are on the website http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/ ) and look for the option "Buy Crysta" and take a look at the payment options so you have a better idea of how to guide your friend thru the process.

This is what I did to help someone transfer. Granted, we're friends in real life, so I just sent him the money via PayPal using his telephone number and no bank information. He then used the money to purchase Crysta on the Mogstation, and used the Crysta to pay for the transfer.

Thanks for all the replies i will be using Mere's suggestion. upside i get to hide it in a pair of socks for his birthday. he hates socks.. with a passion lol.
