    Mouse issues with Windows 10

Ever since I've upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, I've had issues with movement by holding mouse buttons. It can sometimes take 3 or 4 tries to move. The mouse itself never quits responding and this issue is nonexistent outside of FFXIV. This is most visible in combat.

I'm using a basic USB mouse.

    What I've tried so far:
-Clean install of Windows 10 Home x64
-Reinstalling FFXIV (stand-alone desktop version, not running via Steam)
    -Using different mice
    -Adjusting mouse settings in game
-Adjusting resolution and windowed/full screen mode

Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue, or have suggestions on what to try next?

I'm having the same problem. Also holding the right mouse button to move the camera opens the contextmenu of widows desktop. Like the mouse is losing the focus.

Would be nice, if someone can help

I've also tried using a mouse that does not rely on the built-in Windows 10 mouse driver, and disabling the Windows 10 mouse driver to no avail.

    Any ideas?

The worst about Windows 10 is when you clean installing. Drivers issue.

It doesn't appear to be a driver issue as the problem is only present in FFXIV.

A couple other things I've tried to no avail:
-Running FFXIV in Windows 7 and Windows 8 compatibility mode
    -Disabling Cortana
-Disabling Game DVR in the Xbox application.
    -Running FFXIV in full screen

Are you sure you don't have some of the user accessability features enabled? Check windows accessibility settings...

All disabled. It seems almost that the left mouse button is timing out because the camera will always move. Been trying to see if there's a setting for this in the registry or elsewhere at OS level, but no luck.

Considering other Windows 10 users haven't experienced this problem, it's unique to you. And I don't think diving thru the registry is necessary a good idea. Windows 8.1 has a second Accessibility settings options under the Metro UI, you may want to check there if you haven't.

It would make perfect sense that some accessibility setting would be preventing you from pressing both mouse buttons 1 & 2 at the same since this is not how the mouse is normally used, and could possible be interpreted as an accidental button press. I am not sure why or how this is only happening to you though.
