Not only do the rewards suck this content is incredibly boring. I wont be doing company leves again. I'd rather watch paint dry. Protecting some dumb NPC for 15 minutes as she just stands there getting whacked by mobs, no thank you.

the caravan escort is a rank 25 mission, they said they were adding a higher rank one later. a rank 40 one would prob give about 100-200 seals.

Funny, I see people doing behests all the time on Beseid, and even in areas not called Horizon. I enjoy the side quests for what they are, minor events with minor rewards, but a few k xp certainly is nice especially with low level quests. And of all the people I know online, they all do them. Sounds like you have unrealistic expectations combined with the poor luck of being on a low population server.

I think he's pointing out how they initially sucked, then got fixed, and Square isn't figuring that formula out that whenever they make a new quest, they should make sure they're somewhat rewarding, which they keep forgetting to do.

It'll probably get adjusted within a patch or two, but Square's track record for this isn't exactly the best.

Just think about the implications of adding repeatable grand company seal reward events. The manuals for crafting and gathering are only 200 seals each and give a 5000 exp bonus. So for say 1 hour's work you get 5000 free exp for a craft or gathering class PLUS exp for the class you do the event on. I think the rewards are well calculated, but I guess some people believe their rewards should be handed out like personal chocobos (new metaphor for something easy, you're welcome! ).
