Registering pc/dvd license to an account with existing steam version license

is it possible to add the pc/dvd (non-steam) license to an account that already has a steam pc license?

I recently got back into FFXIV but bought the non steam version of Heavensward only to find out its not compatible, so i went to buy the non steam version of ARR thinking i could just add the license to my account and add heavensward as well, but no luck and i cant seem to find a way to add non-steam arr to my account.

Im out of 60 bucks and cant even play the new content on my 3 month prepaid sub account.

You can have multiple accounts under the same Square Enix ID (up to 8 I believe), but only as separate accounts (with separate characters/subscriptions).

These accounts can be a mixture of Steam and non-Steam for Windows, but you can't convert an existing Steam account to non-Steam and vice versa. Sorry.

I don't know where you bought HW from, but most places do say that Steam/non-Steam versions aren't compatible so if where you got it from doesn't say that you could perhaps try to get a refund?

Alright, thanks for the reply.

I purchased Heavensward through a promotion on a gmg"VIP" link which gave no actually link to its product page and no warnings, already tried the refund but they won't take it no matter what.

Looks like I'll probably bundle the HW code with the ARR game dics and sell it somehow.

if your account is steam, you have to get HW on steam.
If your account is from the SE store, that's where you have to buy HW.

If you got the trial on steam, then bought the account on the store, you need to contact support.
