My friend played more than me and he got all crafting classes on lvl 50 and got stuff melded. I managed to catch up to crafting lvl 50 before heavensward came out. 1 month beforeheavensward I didn't bother to get my crafting gear melded anymore.

So during heavensward I was excited for crafting. But my friend still had a huge advantage (which is good, since those people spend gil and time for that gear).
But I got demotivated once we hit lvl 60, because my friend was still way better in crafting. The specialization just helped a little bit.
So people like me, who even caught up with omni crafting are thinking: Is it even worth trying to catch up?

But if there are real specializations it'll be worth it and more motivating for people like me who want to catch up with crafting. And my friend is also happy, because he doesn't have to craft everything now
Most of the people that complain here seem to be old crafters but you guys don't think about the new people that want to start crafting.
