    Evade animation gone... Plans to have it back?

    Hello, adventurers.

    Yesterday I did a couple of Faction Levequests and I really enjoyed them: the changes in the classes and concerning the Max HP/MP and HP healed made these two leves very challenging, as I haven't been seeing in a while.
    This to say, I'm enjoying this new direction of the battle system, as I'm enjoying the tons of contents of patch 1.19. Thanks for the efforts you put into it.

    Anyway, while I was fighting I noticed that the “Evade” word didn't appear anymore when I evaded an attack, and now it's simply “Miss”. This semplifies things when I'm using abilities like Jarrying Strike, so it would be good... but what about the evade animation, that now is gone?

    You know, I liked it when I dodged an attack, particularly with my full-powered Subligar (also, my voice could be heard when doing so, as well as the one of humanoid enemies ), and that little backward step made the battle feel even more real, in my opinion.

    Would it be possible to have it back?

    I don't care about the animation as long as I get to use Simian Trash and Jarring Strike all the time! To me it looks like they just merged evades and miss together, dunno if it was meant or not, but now the pugilist's even better, not mentioning the refresh XD!

    I think the Miss animation should become the Evade animation, it was a nice little touch.

    I do agree that Miss being the trigger for Pugilist counters = amazing and NEEDS to stay that way.

    This is what I was saying. The new feature Miss = Evade is very nice, but I was talking about the animation, that now is gone.

    I'd only like to have the “little backward step” back. It was a nice touch that added more reality to the battle and I don't understand why it was removed.

    So yeah, if they could add it back as a “Miss Animation” (instead of “Evade”) I don't see how that could hurt.

    Any plans, community reps?

    There should be no Miss. It should all be Evade.

    It's like enemies can't aim, or magically have even worse aim against a high-level player. That's garbage. Seeing Evade makes it look like your character actually has skills.

    My character used to do a dodging animation with voice SFX. Now...nothing. It's terrible.

    Scrap Miss, make it Evade, and bring back the animation.

    Evade animation in A Realm Reborn

    Sorry to bring this up, but I was wondering if there was any plan to have the old Evade animation mentioned in the first post back in A Realm Reborn?
    In the shown alpha battle video it doesn't seem to be there, but it would be Great to have it back.

    I thought it was said somewhere that the animation wasn't finalized. Maybe in the translation thread.

    Edit: Found the evade animations keep it secret, keep it safe.

    Wait for beta as it seems the alpha don't have the full animations nor the reworked combat system, all are just placeholders, or are just missing (like the jumping and landing animations, etc).
