Well, I doubt it would become a living minion like the Puff of Darkness. Cait Sith will probably play a major role in one way or another (it is apparently a spirit cat from Midlander mythology)... or be a boss that can summon Atomos and use Level ? Holy.

And yet we have Moogles summon a King Moogle and all their weapons make squeaker sounds... while not a major part of the 2.1 story, they were still there. Cait Sith will probably play a role similar to that of the Au Ra lady in the Alexander plot, "They have thing! I need! You assist me! Get reward!"

SE have been able to give Cait Sith a fairly decent role in storyline's. FFVII and XI being the main examples.

will it be like alexander with a weekly loot lockout? these are by far the thing i hate the most in mmo and mmoesque games. Im okay with reducing drop numbers or something the more runs you do, but please dont say one drop per week. How am i supposed to gear up my dragoon, my summoner, my scholar, my bard, and whatever other classes i decide to level when I'm locked out on loot so it takes weeks to get one of these? IT TOOK A MONTH TO GET THE CHEST FROM ALEXANDER! please no loot locks ;-;
