    I said this another post too, but I definitely preferred it the previous way as a Conjurer who plays with a gamepad. Now we don't know when we can exactly begin casting except for watching the pop-ups as an indicator but that's not gonna be very efficient in critical situations...

    Hmm yes i miss it, but spamming on the action is not going to help either, is best bet to get used to it and click when animation is done. lol. Quick and precise, not spammageddon.

    STupid change. Now I have to press the same button thrice just to be sure I actually hit it by the time the next skill is ready. Good luck doing that while switching targets with a gamepad.

    I was about to throw my controller at the screen and had to log out. I am done, I can't take any more. The patch is great but you are actually able to screw up the battle system again.

    THE ONE %#$% THING THAT IS MOST IMPORTANT.

    As a caster, it is impossible to play now much less have fun. I am not going to watch animations to finish while at the same time trying to target and keeping an eye on party members for healing.

    Shitty targeting, lag infested action bar and now no indicator when you can cast a spell, just try and error. Watching an animation finish, you got to be kidding me!

    This is the last straw. I am done.

    Is 20 dmg for the hit like 30 dmg if a RNG shoots?
    No DRG for party, camp spot site with 30 dmg, but is it for 20 like 30 dmg when you no hit be it for dd, for 30 dmg instead? or half is 10 for 20 dmg?
    How i mine for fish?

    you dont need to say goodbye ...>.> i m also conjurer and i dont like this change ... the only think that i want is to make SE understand that must change it ...or try it and see how and if it works ... why everyone must leave every time that something changed and SE did it because others players hate the way it was before the change ...1.19...

    i hate post like this ...just say what you want to say don't be like a hater ... troll or something else

    pls SE change it i cant play the conjurer in that way i cant just wait to see if the animation stops to do the other skill i must have my mind in many things ... party HP bar ,MObs, my skill bar for choosing the other skill ... or do it as you want but fix it ....right now some skills going grey like Sacrifice with out reason ...and i cant execute it ..or some times doesnt start because i choose it early so .... pls DEvs fix it or try it to see how it works

    So funny: Every player is a "game developer" pre patch, and a cynical mob cultist post patch.

    SE has a direction and we all agreed to those "major revisions".

    Just wish the non-legit complainers would stfu and let SE do their job.

    I also don't like the change. In my opinion, the problem is that canceling spells is kind of messed up with the lag/latency. Sometimes you would hit a button and nothing would happen, so you would hit it again, but then the animation would start, and so bc you hit it twice the spell would cancel. I feel like the root of the problem is lag/latency bit, but, I don't understand why they deviated from the FFXI casting situation where if you moved while casting it would interrupt your spell. That way they could keep the 'readying' and also have an easy way to cancel your spell. To me, that makes more sense.

    I liked the change. Queued actions were pretty bad for retaliation action purposes. Still, the game latency regarding actions is making things very complicated right now.

    It was one of the points i asked in a battle feedback long time ago (before stamina removal)...but, just like everything involving battle here, it was poorly implemented and added at the wrong period. The original idea involved 2 possibilities...

    a) removal of action queue
    b) updating action queue with the newest input, canceling oldest one.

    In both cases it was to prevent action lock caused due stamina (also asked that, with queue removal that actions couldn't be used, getting darkened, if there were no stamina for it).

    But you can always follow the current FFXIV decision logic: "In FFXI was like this". You couldn't queue actions in FFXI.

    i liked the old way, but i'm sure i'll get used to this way. as for the poor devs crying, i'm sure you have to have very thick skin to be a dev, and i think they understand you can please all the ppl all the time.
