Weekly lockout removed from normal alexander.

When is this planned? Has anyone heard anything? From the speed of the initial content releases following HW launch I feel this due any time now.



TL;DR I have alt jobs to gear and doing a 5 week optimal alex normal cycle to baseline i190 them(outside consolidated accessories) is a bit much.

I think it's a bit strange that it takes a full month to get a body from Burden of the Father due to lockout when you can get an Eso body in 2 weeks.

I wouldn't mind it if that still meant you could only win 1 item per run.

However I'm definitely not ready to allow someone to win all four items while I never see another loot from the zone again like what happened in any of the CT's once they unlocked.

Although, it'd make sense if it was removed, given that they're already outclassed by both, Alexander (Savage) and Esoteric gears.

Will likely be a while before they remove the lockout, minimum 3.1. That said, I feel you can get each piece of Alex gear fairly quick except the body. I do agree that it's absurd for it to take 4 weeks to complete. It didn't bother me that much though since I don't particularly like the healer body from alex and that's the jobs I prefer to play.

Anyways, while I would like the shafts required for the body to be reduced to 2 or at least add it to the A3 loot table to put aside the spring (pants), I'm not really expecting SE to patch any changes to this raid any time soon. Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst is usually a reasonable stance to take on these sorts of things

3.1 seems to be the most likely time. By then the new crystal tower type raid will be in place and the gear from there will undoubtedly be a higher ilvl. It would make little sense to keep the lower ilvl gear on a lookout at that point.

Yeah....normal alex gear is still going to be relevant until people have finished gearing their mains through ESO. When it takes 3 weeks for a weapon(we've already passed that), 2 weeks for a body(again, passed) and then 2 weeks more for legs etc. Easier i190'ing of side-jobs would be nice at this point.

I'd be ok with that. I'm just not happy with the 4 tokens per week aspect. I don't feel like that progression brake is necessary anymore.

How so? The thread is concerning the removal of the weekly lockout. Thread titles are there to tell you what a thread is about. Mine does the job.
