If you go up to St. Reymanaud Cathedral in the Pillars, you might be familiar with the scholars of the scholastric. Does anyone know if their cassocks are available to players at all?

It's a unique palette variant, but it's definitely the Sharlayan set from the Great Gubal Library. Every class' version looks the same, but has a unique hat and color scheme.

As for their coats, if you complete the Scholasticate quest line (Inspector Briardien) you get it at the end of the quest chain.

The gloves belong to the same set they've borrowed the coats from - the Sharlayan set from Gubal (http://xivdb.com/item/11336/sharlaya...n's+gloves).
There is no dyeable or class-neutral version available afaik though.

As Emrysian said, there's a questline for the Scholasticate that gives you the coat at the end - but you need to have completed the ARR Hildibrand quests first. Then at Lv60 you can pick up the start of the Scholasticate quest from Mathye at the marketplace in Ishgard.

Too bad the scholasticate coat only dyes the ribbon and trimmings.
