    Only 2 dungeons per now vs 3....terrible idea

    So I read an article where Yoshida mentioned that future patches are going to be 2 dungeons instead of 3 per patch...to focus on different mechanics

    Whelp, if 3.0 expert dungeons are what he's talking about then please re-think this. I've pretty much stopped running ex roulette because its so boring with only 2. Adding 1 more seems trivial...but when you are asking your players to run them over...and over...and over............and over again 3 is better than 2.

    If they want to develop more, new types of content like he said, they have to get the resources to do that from somewhere. If greater Square isn't willing to provide them, they have to reallocate them from other content development.

    I never liked expert roulette because of this. While the dungeons are fun, having only 2 or 3 in a random roulette kills any sense of variety, especially when it comes to getting your weekly currency. They should at least keep expert roulette as its own tier (heavensward lvl 60 dungeons) and enforce an ilvl sync, like they have done for high level roulette.

    This is scary when you see that you get an expansion and you start to get less dungeons. I'm also asking myself if we will still get 1 primal each patch too.

    So 3 dungeons where you always have the same manner behind them, 3 bosses, 30 mins around is worse then them actually trying to create more unique content?

    Yes more variety in your dungeons is good, but when the only thing to do is nothing but dungeon, dungeon, dungeon, that gets very grindy and boring no matter how many different skins you put on it.

    They're not cutting development time, they're just moving resources so they can develop more different kinds of content. Which has been asked for a lot, and a number of players complained about the lack of different types of content.

    Probably saving the good stuff for expansions this way the expansions offer more while updates offer less.

    To me I don't know if that's a good idea or bad idea cause then you have to keep people playing and interested in the game by adding content because this game runs out fast.

    they can try to move manpower for develop new content and unique mechanic, the trouble is the dungeon, 2 or 3, will still have the main flaws behind it....
    no replayability! when you have done it a few time, you will know every monster location, skill, patrol and pattern to the point that it become boring and annoying to do it.

    they must focus on add random and replayability to the content. it's urgent!

    That's just the thing....Yoshida mentioned less dungeons = better mechanics....but do you feel that's what 3.0 dungeons are? I actually really liked most of the 50+ leveling dungeons...absolutely loved the vault....so it's sad to see that we're stuck with 2 ex dungeons when the vault/library could have easily been tweaked for the ex roulette...which i'm sure 1 of them at least will show up in the 3.1 ex roulette as a hard mode
