    Low Level Feedback

Few things I'd like to touch on:

    1) The tutorial holds your hand pretty well, it was self-explanatory enough. However, one criticism I have is that the tutorial is too much "in your face" for my liking. Meaning you can't really skip it, so it's not optional for those who are already familiar with general MMO gameplay like controls and exclamation marks. While the earlier tutorial was a bit hidden behind NPC's and menus the new one is the complete opposite. Having it in the upper left corner where it was easy to notice but easy to skip if you know what there is to tell would suffice I think.

Also another note, not related to 1.19. I found the random cheers by the character I was making rather embarrassing. I'd reconsider using them myself. There doesn't need to be a "hahaa!" emote everytime I move from a menu to another, in my opinion. Also, related to the first quest that tells you to go to Camp Black Brush (Ul'dah) the Journal says it should be easy for any adventurer to find the place. If someone manages to get lost that's like laughing at his incompetence. Some people may be annoyed by it.

    2) I only found the first keyboard layout usable. The second changed the keys to very weird positions... like Enter opening the chat prompt instead of acting as an accept key? I understand your intention was to make it different to layout 1 but it doesn't have to be. I'd rather have it make more sense (from an ex-FFXI player standpoint. That's what you were going for right?) Also you can't put both camera keys and menu navigation keys to arrows.

    3) I like the leveling curve so far (lvl1-10). However I think that level 1 leves are useless and not worth doing besides the tutorial one. This might apply to level 10 leves too. I hope you can make some changes to have it make more sense to have them there. It would also be nice to have the general camps you have set up shown in the map. For example I didn't notice there were level 4-5 chigoes so I was killing the level 2-3 coblyns exclusively until level 10. I like the way you have set them up however, lots of mobs to kill with short respawns.

Also I found that I didn't really have -that many- things to do aside from grinding which was so effective that I almost didn't bother with anything else. I didn't mind the fact, but considering this is 2011 some people may not like simple grinding as an exp method, especially alone.

The burrow ability used by moles (where they hide underground) is extremely annoying. They manage to do it twice at low hp possibly due to their high TP and AI, and when there's three of them it's pretty irritating.

It would be nice to get a notification that you have gained access to Chocobo at level 10. I also do not particularly mind looking for shops to buy mats and stuff, but some people might- as you need to use out-of-game resources to do so.

If you are not planning to make three different low level dungeons for each city, it would be nice to have a way to go to Limsa-Lominsa at level 15 and perhaps have a quest related to doing so, so the players are actually aware there is a low level dungeon out there. You could teach them about Airships with that quest.

If the lower level economy does not pick up, please consider adding NPC sellable items with reasonable prices for around level 10. If it does, ignore me.

Spiritbond acquisition takes quite a while with level 1 equipment. So long that I am not sure whether it is even worth it to apply materia to it. Perhaps this is a non-issue, but I'll mention it here.
