While it's not a search box, in Patch 3.1 we're planning to introduce a text command that will allow you to check whether or not you possess specified items from anywhere. By entering the name of the item after the command, it'll check your equipment, inventory, Armoury chest, retainer inventories, and the armoire for that item. This command also works with partial text, so you could type "Subligar" and you would be presented with a list of all the items you possess with this word and the results will be displayed in your chat log!
