They actually said they're going to be adding the multi try-on feature in 3.1 in the latest Dev Letter, though I agree that it would also be nice to see how the pieces would look with dye. They could model it after a try-on feature like LOTRO has. It lets you try on multiple pieces of gear together and it combines a dye preview into the feature as well. It's nice getting to check how various items would look together if dyed different ways, and all before you decide whether to buy any of them.

Oh man when you go back and read old promises and look at it today 10 years later and still not implemented
You can try on multiple items right now, and test-dye each individually. Toggle the 'Save/Delete' outfit button on the fitting room panel after trying on the first piece and it'll keep the most recent item and dyes for each gear slot until you log out or turn off that function.
:OOOOOO my mind is blown thank you it was so obvious that i completely overlooked at thinking that was for glamour plates or somethingYou can try on multiple items right now, and test-dye each individually. Toggle the 'Save/Delete' outfit button on the fitting room panel after trying on the first piece and it'll keep the most recent item and dyes for each gear slot until you log out or turn off that function.
This may be a bit of a niche complaint, but I've come across it a lot in Occult Crescent lately in Critical Engagements and sometimes in Alliance raids as a Red Mage.
It was a great quality of life feature to add the black health bar above downed party members, this makes it very easy to visually see anyone who is down and might otherwise be obscured or blend in.
My issue is that when there is a large number of people in other parties, it can be difficult to know quickly if someone has already had a resurrection cast on them. Sometimes in the heat of battle I end up wasting MP and Swiftcasts on someone who has already been helped and hasn't accepted yet, or is strategically delaying, or might be AFK.
What if next to the black bar we had a resurrection buff icon with a countdown showing how much time that player has to accept? That way we can make quick and informed decisions about who to use our resources on.
I think it would be helpful if we got a job gauge for fisher. Sometimes when I'm trying to catch multiple different fish at a location or I'm going after multiple objectives in ocean fishing, I think I've switched bait and haven't or have accidentally selected the wrong bait, and end up wasting time in spawn windows.
I'd like to see a job gauge that shows:
- The currently selected bait (along with the number we have left of that bait)
- Any swimbait we have in reserve
- A list of fish caught in the current session at the current fishing hole (similar to the list in ocean fishing). That way we can more easily track how close we are to getting the intuition buff for fish like Gharlichthys (requires 12 Basilosaurs) or Sidereal Whale (requires 1 Phallaina, 2 Unbegotten and 3 E.B.E.-9318).
- The amount of time we have until we're going to get the "the fish have become wary" message

I would love an option to retain pop-up help for the map at least, when I disable the "display pop-up help" option. Currently it removes everything, both for the map and actions.
