    QoL For Visual Impairmented Players

It would go a long way of making the story accessible to those that don't necessarily have visual impairments like I do.
I would like to see an update to this please. My husband has RP which has him mostly blind with no known cure yet. I am for the most part his eyes when we play this game. But he really has a hard time with the bright fields and other backgrounds where reading is involved. I love to see this option for those who have vision impairments so that they many continue to enjoy this game with the rest of us.

Option for currency display for currencies with a weekly cap to show how much you have earned that week.

What are you talking about? It already shows that.

You can nowadays choose freely which currencies the currency HUD element shows (up to five, switched by right clicking the icon of the currency) However even for the capped ones, be it weekly or max, it shows only the current amount. Since things like fate gems and hunt marks and stuff hasve varied caps, not to mention the weekly limit in some, having the HUD element also show these would be handy. I keep capping the fate gems as I forget their max is so low for example. Having it shown on my UI along the current amount would be nice.

If you say 'pls' because it's shorter than 'please', I say 'no' because it's shorter than 'yes'.

Not quite. It does in the currency window, but not the HUD element.

This is showing me how many heliometry I have right now. It is more important to show me how many more I can earn this week. The importance of this wasn't lost in the people who designed the original currency window, as well as the Companion App widget.

    Or the Lodestone.

The currency HUD element doesn't show it anywhere.

So for the FATEs where you have to turn in X number of items, it already shows how many of the item you have turned in. But I would love for it to show how many of that item you are carrying in your inventory. It feels clunky manually opening your inventory every time you want to check.

Please add toggle for FATE bgm. FATE music ruins immersion and annoys gatherers. It should be an option just like battle music or mount music. I've seen this topic being brough up years ago... Its just on/off thing, shouldn't be that complicated to do.

And when we are in the topic of sound, that one map in Endwalker that starts off with amazing ambient music and end up with repeating song over and over that makes sense emotionally with the story, but doesn't later on while farming. That's too bad it's there always, it downplays the song and messes up with the unique ambience of the map. And I think you have to finish the story (make the music start) to start farming. Truly, breaks my heart, its such a great place...

Agreed. You're sitting there fishing, minding your own business, and then all of a sudden you're listening to FATE music for the next 15 minutes.

IMO, the FATE music should only play if you are actively participating in the FATE. The music shouldn't change if you're on a crafting/gathering class, or if you're not synced down to the appropriate level.

Right? I know it's been almost four years now and it's not going to change, but making that song the normal zone music was an INCREDIBLY bad call. It's good song, and was super cool for MSQ purposes, but as normal zone music that plays on a loop all the time it got very annoying very quickly. Especially if you're doing something that requires spending extensive amounts of time there (fishing.)

I realized this while talking with a friend who started recently but a lot of pretty important quests are kinda archaic to find and I think there should be an in-game way that indicates these quests better.
Specifically quests such as any optional dungeons, raids and trials like Coils of Bahamut or Warring Triads and so on.
I don't think the current "recommendations" system is really good at conveying these ones specifically.
You pretty much have to go out of your way to google it or have your friends direct you to where these are.

I feel like something like how the job quests are shown now would be a nice way to go about it for these.

Agreed. The blue quest icon is great for telling you that this quest will unlock something, but with so many in the game, and no indication of what they unlock, the system has become almost useless to new players. There should be a secondary scenario guide that points to things like raids and trials.

"Will that blue quest NPC give me a 2 minute quest that rewards an emote, or is it the start of an entire alliance raid story? No one knows!"
