That's actually what I asked for. A way to search for X item and have our recipe book at least show us the level range 1-5 or 46-50 etc. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...30#post3348830

A way to search for X item and have our recipe book at least show us the level range 1-5 or 46-50 etc. http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...30#post3348830Something that would be REALLY usefull more than searching through inventory(that is really not that big seriously -_-) would be allowing us to search in the crafting/gathering list, because there is so much receipe now it's annoying when you don't remember what level is a certain item and you have to go through all the levels and page to find it. And similar to that, or possibly to do this differently would be to just allow us to do a right click "search receipe" on an item in the crafting receipe that can be crafted too.
I'm not sure if this counts as QoLs but...I'd still like to use PvE of off class skills as icons for macros without the cooldown or M/T/G/CP costs, like how the game was at relaunch.
One thing i'd like to see are markers and waymarks on maps (at least for world maps).
Just like how we see Battle high and fever in PVP maps. Waymarks would be useful in both PVP and while gathering nodes that are far away from each other
Hi.
Can you please add a color customization option for the map icons for PvP? I'm a bit colorblind and have found myself running into the opponent thinking that it was my party members. (Blue and Light Blue(?))

Can you consider add a system where you can crafts the item that you want to without the need of having them in the inventory?
- Due to the current state of too many item database existed and it will growing more and more in the future.
- With the growth of item database, it leads to the increase of crafting recipts.
- The lack of inventory slots that we may never see it will increase because of server limited or server problem.
- Crafting recipts require a lot of raw materials to crafts and then require a lot of crafted materials to make the final product. Not include it came from many crafting classes, not just one.
- A big amounts of retainers (extra retainers) with extra inventory slots. Compare this with the item database, you will have a lot of things in your retainers to look at or to find if you want to take them out of their inventory and put them inside yours.
- Too many clicks require to do one short action.
A solution I came up for this is to create an area around your Summoning Bell where you need to stay in this area to craft without taking them out of your retainer storage. Or, if it's a FC Housing, we just need a Summoning Bell that had been already placed inside the house for this to work.
The reason I came up with that solution is because I have seen how you guys designed with the "Triple Triad table" or "Triple Triad duel area" that currently existed in the game. You have created a small area in town or city state (Western Thanalan - Horizon for example, or the small top right area in Idyllshire with the Summoning Bell located where you can also challenge Triple Triad by just need to step in the right area) that can use for duel with NPC or other players. And by placing a table inside FC Housing, you can duel them anywhere as long as you have the table inside the house.
With that, I hope you guys can consider it. Please make it happen. We can pay for the extra retainers to maintance the server but with this change, it will help everyone a lot. (not include you will have +1 point to the UI review for the comfortable and neat, best QoL)
Thank you,

In Patch 3.1 we're planning to make various adjustment to exploratory voyages so you can enjoy this content more comfortably. You will be able to check the airship's return time and status outside of a workshop, as well as open the repair screen even if you don't have any ceruleum tanks or airship repair materials in possession.

Yay, this is so awesome! Now I can finally...In Patch 3.1 we're planning to make various adjustment to exploratory voyages so you can enjoy this content more comfortably. Wait... Nevermind... There are no houses available to enjoy this content so I don't even know what any of this means.
Yes, more housing FOR EVERYONE! This content should never have been restricted to just FC's in the first place, especially since it seems a larger amount of the housing is owned by single players.
When will we see Airship building/exploratory missions for Private housing? Right now FC's have a monopoly on the items that are available from Exploratory missions on the MB and I, for one, refuse to buy anything from them at the ridiculous prices they want. I'm pretty sure the next housing glamour content SE has scheduled will use Exploratory Missions in some form or fashion too. Well, its not just FC's that own houses.... The rest of us want to access this content too.
also can we get rid of this ridiculous "4 crafters" requirement...
I'm hoping there will more than one use for the airship materials, especially the ones that unlock the workshop recipes. I'm still leveling my third and fourth airship to rank 50. Most of the materials that they bring back are just taking up space in the FC chest, since I have all the recipes unlocked. Adding more recipes will not solve this issue. There needs to be more uses for these materials outside of a single use.
I'm also hoping for a way to improve an airships capacity. I suppose they could simply just raise it. However it might be an interesting idea to use these neglected materials, mentioned above, to increase the airship capacity beyond 61.
They should at least get rid of the requirement for the crystal recipes. I can see needing an group for airship parts or housing, but the one-phase items should only need one person to complete.

I think they mentioned in a live letter that they wouldn't be getting rid of the 4 crafters requirement because they wanted it to feel like a group effort. I know what you mean about the one-phase items though and I agree wholeheartedly!
