I'm still waiting for the ability to keep icons lit on macros, like they used to be before /macroicon was implemented and a way to change gearset icons without macros

On a related note I would also like to See the icons for dummied out abilities like Fey Light appear on the default list of icons (Those moves are never gonna be lit anyway since they were well...removed)

    1) Show me how much time is left on my plants before I can harvest them. Stick it up there in Timers if you want.
    2) If I gather from an ephemeral node, put the time that node spawns in my gathering log so I dont have to use a third party app to see it.

Please fix the graphical effects settings. We get to choose from things that are called "All" "Limited" or "None", but even on the "None" setting, there are tons of swirling colored lights surrounding everyone with nearly every move they make.

In crowded situations (like a popular S-Rank hunt in close quarters or an Odin FATE, etc.) all those swirling lights can make it impossible to see where anything is. I often can't even see my own character at all (which makes avoiding AoE nearly impossible, let alone trying to position myself correctly for using directional melee attacks). Plus, even in uncrowded situations, where they aren't really a hindrance to gameplay, it's still very immersion breaking to see swirling lights around people every time they move.

The swirling lights associated with combat actions should ONLY show up if the setting is on "ALL" effects. Turn them off for "Limited" or "None". (Or eliminating them from the game altogether would be even better, but I'd settle for just a way to turn them off.)

Option to turn off FATE fanfares and music. I want to throw something every time I'm riding a mount with nice music (Magitek Armor, Kirin) and I go through a FATE. Especially boss FATEs where the FATE music overrides the mount's.

    More quality-of-life improvements are abound!.

Currently, when you have delivery- and supply-related windows open and access the market board or a retainer, these windows will be hidden until you either close the market board/retainer window, or if you reopen the other windows. We're planning to make the following windows stay open even if you access the market board.
    • Crafting log
    • Supply and provisioning missions
    • Delivery related windows, such as the free company material delivery window.

Furthermore, we'll also be looking into whether we can implement the following changes as well.
    • View number of available allowances for beast tribe quests without having to talk to an NPC to check.
    • View the amount of time remaining to charge an aetherial wheel without having to check the wheel itself.

For certain quests, the key item needed to be used on the target will be displayed in the Duty List. Right clicking on this item while you target the quest object will use the item without opening the inventory.

That doesn't help if you have the Duty list hidden. It also doesn't help controller users (back, back, back, oh went past it... back, back....), and is still clunky. Yes you can press "X > Use key item > navigate to item > A". But why not just use the relevant item directly when selecting "Use key item" and it cut it from a minimum of 5 button presses (depending on how many presses it takes to locate the key item in your inventory) to a guaranteed 2 button presses?

EDIT: But yes Zhexos, thanks for the awesome updates! keep them coming!

unrelated, but while we're on the topic of navigating inventory, I found this helpful trick for selecting items in situations where you need to hand over an item rather than use it on a target (for example crafting leves, supply missions and collectible turn-ins, as well as many quests)
    - from the "hand over" window, don't press A (X on PS4) on the requested item's icon to navigate inventory, instead press X (square on PS4) to open a popup with only the relevant item(s) displayed, and select that, no navigation required.

this works for every situation where you need to hand over something and functions like selecting a weapon or piece of gear as an ingredient for some crafting recipes that use finished items as ingredients

I thought others might enjoy the tip it's a big time saver

You can also click on those icons as a mouse user to save searching your bags.
