Does Square Enix Sell Sheet Music?

So, like the title says: Does Square Enix sell sheet music for their games? I'd love to be able to purchase some Final Fantasy piano music somewhere. A lot of it sounds like it'd be a lot of fun to play.

Apologies in advance if this isn't the right forum for this question.

    Thanks!

I know they used to. There are a number of official compilations of piano sheet music for both Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest out there. Not sure if they've released any of the more recent stuff, though, since their music production process has changed a lot from Nobuo's days on staff.

Well this needs to change. I would love to play an arrangement of this final boss theme.

I tried looking around for official sheet musics, but I didn't end up finding any. Do you know where I could look? Or are they around anymore? My neighbor got me "Rose of May" (Beatrix's theme) from FF9 somehow, but I don't know where she looked, or if she paid anything for it.

    Thanks!

You can find anything on the internet, but the vast majority of it is fan made.

Official releases for this kind of stuff are also usually super expensive, so I recommend just checking google and seeing what fans have whipped up. I wouldn't be surprised if fan made sheet music was more accurate and better quality than what professional publishing companies would dump out if they had the licensing.

Ah, okay. I'll do that, then. Maybe I'll send Uematsu a little donation with every fan-made arrangement of his I get. I love his music lots.

    Thanks!

Yes, they do sell official piano sheet music - I can't remember exactly where on the internet I bought them but they're called 'piano collections (insert game here)'.
I own two of them personally (IX and XIII) and the sheet music for 'those who fight' (i.e. VII's battle theme). My personal favourites are 'rose of may' and 'melodies of life' from IX. They're definitely worth getting IMO.

P.S. They're in Japanese (well mine are at least - I don't know if there are English versions out there)

P.S.S They're also arrangements so they're generally a little different from how you remember them. I'd recommend looking up some videos on youtube first
