Any reason to use Stone II now?

Hi. I was a main WHM before Heavensward but had to change accounts and I'm levelling again, so I didn't had the chance to test any of the new skills. However, I have one question.

Is there any reason to cast Stone 2 after getting Stone 3? Usually, Stone 1 has its use when soloing, because you can heavy the target, so while he gets closer you can DoT with Aero 2 and Aero and then start spamming Stone 2.

Is there any utility to Stone 2 or is it going to be a wasted skill now that we have an updated version of it?

Shouldn't run OOM it's not too expensive for the MP we have. And proper use Shroud of Saints and Assize should leave you with more than enough. I combo presence of mind with Stone III for burst and then pop shotguns when about 75%

Raid stuff. It hurts to try to DPS during A3S adds since I'm starting to get pretty low on Mana at that point. Though Stone 1 helps~

That only really matters if you're fighting some boss FATE that takes three years to down, though.

I think this aspect is what bothered me the most out of anything. It just flat out power creep. Atleast stone1 still has good slow utility. But S3 is identical to S2 in ever way besides more potency.

Stone II may cost less MP than Stone III, but it is not more MP efficient than Stone III.

Stone II
170 Potency/442 MP cost=0.384 Potency per MP spent.

Stone III
210 Potency/530 MP cost=0.396 Potency per MP spent.

As has been mentioned, the only reason to use Stone II over Stone III is if you're level synced down to below 54.

But consider this. Before Stone III, Holy was our best single target DPS spell (in addition to being great AoE).
