Can't Open Launcher

Hello I just got a 4k monitor and was able to launch the game once, now when i try to open the launcher it says
A System error has occurred -2146697208

Update: Was able to launch the game once i set my monitor display back to 1080, Is there any way to have my monitor set at the higher res and be able to launch the game?

I was getting the same error code, however, mine was not from a new monitor. I had just upgraded to Windows 10. After reading this post I went to check and make sure the update did not change my resolution (was 1080 before the Windows update). It appeared my resolution had not been changed, it was still 1080, however, I changed it to a lower res, then back to 1080, saved changes and closed it. Tried to open the launcher again and it worked....I have no idea what or if I did anything correctly. More than likely it was just a fluke but I wanted to share my experience just in case. I was about to start crying about Windows 10 f'ing everything up lol
