    99Leves? Local Leve XP?

Help me out because I am a bit confused here. Did they change the leve allowance to 99 in this update? I remember reading about it earlier which 99 leves allowance and every 12 hours 4 leves will be implemented?

Long story short, My Leve/journal interface hasnt changed and I can still only accept upto 8 battle leve?

Secondly, when handing in your local leves, now you have to change your class to that very DOH class in order to get EXP for your class? Last night I went to Broken Water to hand in my leve and all it said was "You earned xxxx EXP" instead of "You gained xxxx Smith skill".

Yes, me too. I took 2.8k Archer's exp point from an alchemist local leve. This should be fixed imo.

Actually, the new leve "allowance" will be adding extra 4 leves every 12 hours, which means you can have up to 99 leves if you don't log for a long time or don't use them (kinda the same way if you don't teleport with anima). So for getting the 99 leve allowance cap, we have to do nothing for about 12 days.

As for exp, yes you have to change into the class you made the craft for or either that sp will go to whichever job you have at the moment. Be careful if you claim the leve in your CON lv 50 or else all your hard earned sp will go to waste. The positive side of this is, if you have a high lvl craft like weav 50, you will get a huge sp reward which you can use in a lower craft, like Armorer lvl 25.

They really did that? Pre-patch the SP always went to the correct class no matter if you handed it in as a CON or the craft you used to synth them.

Ugh - I hope we get some dev confirmation on this. I know there had been a dev statement or patch note somewhere that stated we could turn in local leves on any class. I don't remember seeing any further notes changing that - but I also didn't pay any attention when I turned in my leves. I did notice I got less exp than expected on some turn ins though. I frequently head to a camp to turn in my local leves in my fighting gear, not my crafting gear. Until this is clarified, I supposed I will have to change jobs before each turn in for now.

People just aren't paying attention. You can turn in any locals on any class. The message it gives you doesn't state which class you're getting the points for because in your journal they have the shiny new pictures of the guild crest beside each quest..

The game no longer states which class recieves XP when. This isn't a bug, and the best way to confirm whether or not your crafting class is getting experience when turning in the leve on another... is to check the experience before and after. Try that first, and THEN if it isn't working properly...

any npc that uses your allowance tells you how many leves you have allowable as soon as you first talk to them.
the mechanic of having 8 open at one time still stands. you can be 8/8 and as soon as you finish one you can get another as long as you have the allowance to do so.

This answers the OP's question. /thread
