Spiritbond

Has anyone been able to Determine if Spiritbond point are awarded when we receive Exp for completing a quest or is it just from actual combat/crafting? I am hoping it is from the former since the Dev team decided, a couple of patches ago, to transfer Additional Exp from combat to rewards on order to reward people who did not exploit the retry system. Any ifo would be greatly appreciated.

I think its a lot more complex than just one thing, I was on my 50 Con at one of the strongholds gaining XP like no tomorrow (750+ a kill) and the spritbond wasn't going up all that fast.

I ended up going back to town to craft on my 38 Wea, decided to craft a bunch of cloth for a meager 150XP a synth and the spiritbond went up much faster.

I had the spiritbond choker on in both situations.

As to if its exp or use, I cant answer, but am wondering the same. However, I can say that spiritbond is linked to item level in some capacity, lower level items will gain spiritbond faster. Went mining last night, some of my gear is r47 and some of it is r45. By the end of the night the r47 stuff was at about 40% spiritbond, the r45 stuff was more at 60%.

This is good since you will be outleveling your lower gear faster anyway, so hopefully by the time you are done with one bit of gear you can break it down and stick it into your newer, now optimal level gear.
