The thing is, you don't create a new problem.Just because a change creates a new problem does not make the change pointless. It simply means you either need to a) change your plan or b) address the new problem before you implement the change.
For my personal game experience, I would not suffer from armoury bloat, but I understand that it may for some - especially crafter/gatherers.
You make a current problem worse that they the developers said they don't plan to fix anytime soon.
