DPS Class with the Highest Burst Damage?

Highest burst dps? Warrior. Have you ever hit triple crit fellcleaves in one berserk window? Barrage + EA has nothing on berserk cleaves lol

Eventhough warrior has high dmg, the thread is about DPS class wth highest burst.

Also, what if you don't crit any of them? Can warrior even reach 1,7k opener that way? How would you get 3 fell cleaves without using up your CD'S if you have to tank that time and there's something coming within past 1min that needs longer than 6 second IB and you need to save Holmgang for a little later for other mechanic.

And mch done properly beats warrior on opener burst, sure warrior has best 2gcd burst each minute if you can fell cleave infuriate fell cleave.

But once again, warrior is still designwise tank not dps that the OP asked for.

Still seems to crit for less than F4 by decent margin.

DRG are pretty much the best DPS class in the game right now. Best sustained DPS and one of the highest burst. Can't lose with them.

MCH and BRD are also good, but you have to watch out for certain things with MCH. If you want to max your burst, you have to play perfectly in those 15 seconds until Wildfire (while hoping boss mechanics don't ruin it by going invincible or something... This happens in Neverreap a lot). You are also reliant on DRG (again that class) for max damage as you can't apply the piercing debuff yourself.

So, yeah. As much as I love my MCH, if you want to play a class with high burst and also the best overall DPS, go DRG.

They're all pretty close. The MNK is i203, the DRG is i197 and the SMN is i196.
