Most other games also have content and tons of quests for low level players. The only real content for players up until 15 is the few quests you are able to do and leves or behest. I tried an r1 behest and the rewards were pretty lame. I tried a rank 10 behest and got destroyed at rank 9. Leves at low levels now give considerably less XP. Everything that they did made leveling at low levels take a lot longer, but they haven't added any content in to help make it more enjoyable. It's just a boring, awful grind.Funny enough, aside as they say "easy mode" games this is actually correct pacing when compared to other MMOs. Many MMOs out there have xp rates that hit the millions till next level. So going from say, 1-20 in 5 hours with 7 million TNL, is about on par with how low/slow Xp TNL in XIV is.
but oh wait didn't they JUST add a level 15 something in this patch? Most other games also have content and tons of quests for low level players. The only real content for players up until 15 is the few quests you are able to do and leves or behest. [. . .] but they haven't added any content in to help make it more enjoyable. It's just a boring, awful grind.
Every time I visit the lodestone forums now I wind up thinking of the sound of a toddler throwing a tantrum.
I would've done 3 missions in that time. Unless money isn't important, then you can skip them.
It's okay to ask for help if you find yourself leveling slow, instead of claiming borken-game.
The system is changed, but it is nothing new. The difference now is that when you go to level your second class, that class is not profoundly stronger than when you leveled your first class. Now, it is as if they are both your first class. This is what i expected.
So the way I see it, it's harder for older players to level up their low level classes than it was before, but it is no harder for a new player to level his first class. get what im saying?
When all else fails, Heck the Bed.

Problem is, you guys aren't playing the one class that can take on mobs higher than themselves reliably:
GLADIATOR
Confirmed with a friend last night.
To be fair to the OP, I decided to try out exp at R1 on my fishing mule. He's got no dow or dol at all.
I'd say it is extremely difficult now if you have no cross class abilities to fall back on. Say you started LNC, and just leveled LNC, it would be brutal.
My advice OP, is to take a deep breath, and just buckle down and grind ur dow and dom classes to 15, then move forward with your main choice. Even at 50, any one of my classes would be very hard to play without cross class actions to depend on. The same is true, if not more so at low levels. With the stat adjustments (they aren't just to us, in case you didn't take notice) it makes low level battle way more difficult if you're doing your first job.
Started today from scratch, brutal isn't exactly the word I'd use for leveling LNC.Say you started LNC, and just leveled LNC, it would be brutal.
There is quite a bit of misconceptions here recently.

So does PUG just suck as a class then? Because I can barely get to a 3 Chain XP Chain without having to rest, and that only gives like 500 XP and it takes about 3 minutes >.>
EDIT: And the lodestone won't update my classI'm Level 15 now
