Yea sorry should of clarified that. Ill use thunder proc on one mob, then other proc from swiftcast on a differ mob. Then if proc comes again I recast on 1st mob to lengthen it.Maybe I misunderstood, but you don't really want to be using thundecloud procs whenever they come up. It depends on the time left on thunder. Thundercloud is more potent than Fire IV, but only if it's allowed to tick near its full duration. Don't remember the exact time at the moment. But doing something like TC proc > Fire IV > Fire 1 > TC proc would be a dps loss unless you are using the second TC on a different mob. As a general rule, 1 TC per Astral Fire phase unless it's like maybe at the very beginning, and very end.
Sorry! didn't see this question originally ^^
For my AOE, pretty std really, although I will use LL if up (but not too fussed if I don't have it on)
I use F3 > F2x3 > Flare > Convert > SwiftFlare > Transpose > F3 > (F2 if tick accommodates) Flare > Repeat from Transpose
For those fantastic times where we end up with 2 BLM's, I'll single target and they will AOE or vice versa.
was using this opener originally and then moved to Aikaals one but added a T1 after/before (Eno timer) the first B4. It has seemed to increase my DPS on Faust, but that could have just been lucky crits.
Agree! I am finding now that I am able to prepare and be ready for certain phases of runs (raid or dungeon). More runs seems to = better output. Even Neverreap isn't that bad now (that last boss though.. ugh)
Thanks everyone for your tipsOne big change I have made has been with my Thunder Proc's, I am making much better use of it now than I was previously. I am still learning and getting better each time I play of course, but it helps to understand what other people are doing and seeing if that works for me.
