Few questions about Moogles in Churning Mists

That would seem to suggest that the Churning Mists and Sea of Clouds were originally part of the same continent, wouldn't it? I kind of doubt moogles could fly from one to the other.

It does suggest that it was all one continent at one point but the Moogles can fly between those locations. Those lvl 59 quests include a group of Moogles from the Twelveswood who travel to visit Moghome and end up in the Sea of Clouds by accident (Moogles give bad directions). After rescuing them they fly over on their own to the Churning Mists. There is also a fishing Moogle who ventures out to fish on different floating Islands. He actually loses a fishing contest to a Vanu Vanu in the Sea of Clouds.

It is suggested that there was once one large single sky Island. That would have had an interesting landscape in its shadow.

Either way it raises some interesting questions.
