    WAR stat allocations

I have been experimenting with different stat allocations, from full VIT to full STR (all with full slaying accessories). Right npw I'm trying out 15 STR 20 VIT. The damage I'm full STR was incredible but I feel like until I've got more eso pieces full STR would just be too hard to heal irregardless of how awesome my fellcleave damage is. If you aren't going full VIT what are you running? How had it been working for you? If you're running full STR, Same question. What Ilvl did you start using full STR with no issues?

Full str stat allocation, two vit acc and the rest str with ilvl 180 gear. Gives meover 17k in tank stance, out of party and no food buff. Unless the healers are idiots (in which case I dust off the full vit set) I find this does the job nicely though with my fc if we know the run well it's full str all the way

Pretty much every warrior runs full Strength bonus stats all the time. They're the tank primarily brought for their damage output, and Defiance compensates for the HP pool.

Just maintain a set of both Strength and Vitality accessories and mix and match them depending on the encounter. Ideally you want to be full strength spec with 5 strength accessories all the time, but when a bit undergeared for encounters or making huge trash pulls you'll want some Vitality accs to just give some leeway to the healers. There's no real right answer as sometimes you'll want 4 Vit 1 Str, sometimes 3+2, sometimes 2+3 etc - it varies based on the encounter and your gear level and part of the skill of a warrior tank is knowing how much vit they can get away with losing in exchange for strength.

OR... if you have 3-4 million to spare, buy a set of i150 HQ Accessories max melded. Each one has 31 Str and 29 Vit on and blows away even the current i210 accessories as an all round choice on just about all content. It's a money investment but the performance difference you see with a pentameld set is really huge.

My stats are 50/50, and currently I have 2-3 Slaying jewelry and the rest is tank stuff.
20k seems like a pretty number for HP, this and I don't have a static, so the extra HP buff is nice.

WAR is always all STR in bonus attributes ; raiding 4 Penta melded 150's and a 190 or 200 slaying piece. Yes WAR has to do alot of damage in savage don't even bring up the argument. If you cannot do content with 20k Vitality and food pushing it up to 21+ you are just not playing warrior right. sorry. As for the one 190 or 200 slaying piece once you have enough left side build you can easily sacrifice one slot for pure strength. Why do we do this...well, Alex 1 Savage I tank as WAR and do 700dps while tanking the first dps check, faust.. it was made this way intentionally not by accident; 4 DPS are not enough to kill faust in savage you need scholar and warrior (or DRK) damage. Fending accessories are not for the warrior class. You can have 25,000 Vitality and get destroyed when enragers go off. You have Vengeance for 30% damage reduction for 20 seconds, inner beast (I don't recommend using this unless you're done with Fell Cleaves and unchained) for 20%..... Raw Intuition 20% frontal 20 seconds and equilibrium anytime for a large heal generally excellent after a Deliverance Burst in berserk to swap into defiance and trigger that which will give you a 10,000hp heal and activate the defiance health/healing boosts. I started this by just maintaining about 19.xx k HP and as it was raised it settled in. There's also Thrill of Battle and Convalescence for swaps to defiance with Equilibrium on table. There is also Holmgang which is not just for "I'mgonna die" and can be used strategically to boost LB gauge or just eat a tank buster.

Don't be afraid to use VIT if you need it. It's all about what you're most comfortable with. The more comfortable you get with tanking, the less you need to invest in VIT.

    This.

Also if you have the cash, try the ilvl 150 melded accessoires. Gets you the best out of both. ^^

Full VIT accessories ought to be enough even for the most inexperienced tanks.

There's no reason to allocate any stat points into VIT except maybe if you're lulzing around trying to see how high your HP can get in Defiance with Thrill of Battle popped
