The gear is a reward for those who actually put the effort in to do PvP. You're going to need to do a lot of grinding just to buy all the gear and weapons, so you may as well deal with it. Start buying the old 110 glamour pieces while you rank up, that'll keep you occupied. How is removing ranks and suddenly making all the work all of us who have been doing PvP for over a year now worthless a good thing? 7 weeks.... HA!
