Five bucks says OP votes Democrat and/or is 12 years old.
We don't need/want players like you in pvp. Please uninstall. Thank you.
Maybe try Candy Crush?
This thread has to be trolling.... it has to be :S
So if u want rank requirement removed for pvp gear can I buy raid gear with regular tomes then kthx? I don't wanna do raids but I want highend stuff for vanity.
For same reason raid gear is locked behind progression pvp gear is locked behind ranks doh
The best thing about the Rank 50 gear is causing lightning strikes.
Also, the fireworks shows are purely for us who have made it to Rank 50.
SE have promised statues to be placed at the Wolves Den Pier in honour of those who reach Rank 50.
^.^
You also forgot the cool ride most rank 50s have. That one day might flyAlso One like is not enough.
I'm actually fine with this. Because my rank is so damn high in PvP (I played a LOT when it first came out), my queues take longer than 3 hours. No seriously. 3 hours. As a tank.
Just because I play a lot does not mean I'm good. In fact, I did all my PvP battles as a white mage.

I hope the devs are listening. We need the devs to please listen.
I'd like Ranks to be removed, and replaced with actual Ranks...
Currently, Ranks are effectively just a PvP Level, that is pretty much meaningless. Anyone can grind/wintrade to Rank 50, it isn't hard.
I'd rather see Ranks turned into an indicator of how good you are, with the gear then being a instant indication/actual trophy, instead of "Look at me, I can grind Frontlines!". Rather than grinding to Rank 50 and PvP EXP effectively being gone, make it so each Kill increases your Rank, and each Death reduces it. Factor in overall win rate (which I'd like to minimize, since I have no control over the other 23 Adders that throw themselves at a 20% Node and then act shocked when the other other team decides to take that chance to sandwich and completely annihilate them... Perhaps have the final place your team gets as a modifier... You got 6 Kills (600EXP) and 1 Death (-100EXP), with 1st being x2, 2nd x1.5, and last x1, for example), and have it so your Rank naturally decreases over time, and we have a system that not only rewards good players, but creates a constant incentive to play. Right now you can grind your way to Rank 50 very easily, buy all the gear, and never touch PvP again. That's broken and stupid, IMO.
Granted, making Ranks based on Kill/Deaths is entirely unbalanced and not at all a good idea because of healers, but you get the idea. When SE listens/pays me to come up with suggestions, I'll put more effort into them, until then this is just an example. Could probably easily fix it by throwing in an Assists system, but whatever...

Is this troll thread or are you in serious manner?
Just wonder![]()
Let it be remembered that this has been said.
To put it in context, everyday, you get between 600 and 800 pvp experience, lets assume he lost every single time and multiply 600 by 49 and it makes almost 30.000 exp. that is what is required for rank 23. and that is if he only did one game a day, and lost it. Every. Single. Time. (And I cab to calculate the bonuses given by the challenge log, as they change for every rank) Now lets be real. In 7 weeks, you should have gotten a rank 40 easily (which is around 90.000 exp). If you do not want to put the effort, you don't deserve the rewards. Be happy you can equip the epic looking liege gear.
