New lancer stats (patch 19)

i wonder about the magic stats being for dragoon. i would think changing into a job would change your stats, as a way to set a job apart from a class. if that was the case why not give magic stats to the dragoon but not the lancer? just a thought i had could be completely wrong.

I don't think they're going to separate jobs and classes like that. From what I understood, jobs will be more of an "extension" of the class, and separate party/solo play. Think of jobs like a specialized talent tree from other MMOs, except without the choice of going down other paths. They have talked about potentially adding more jobs or "advanced jobs" to classes in the future though.
