Bring Back Original Steps of Faith as Hard/Extreme Mode!

What would be the point of bringing this fight back? Before the nerf players could not clear, after the nerf some still could not but the fight itself is tied into the main story.
Really only Primal Fights get Extreme modes.. And PS the fight was easy even before nerf, lol

I recently needed Steps to get an alt into Ishgard, I had to queue 5 times for it and the final group wiped a few times before we got our win.

Steps of Faith was never anywhere near on the level of an extreme mode primal and there would be no reason to bring it back. Even bringing it back it is not difficult enough to deserve a reward on the same level as an ex primal. It would also be the most boring extreme fight there is.

I'd love this. Not only did I clear the trial with randoms on my 3rd try, the day it came out, but I helped a friend clear it a few days later. Fast forward to last week. Came back from a few month break after beating 2.x to do 3.0 and my roommate was ready for steps. Got In there with her and one of our fc members. Expecting random chaos of chance with Newby players I was assuming it would take at least a couple tries... Or he would get past the barriers and close to the door. Yet low and behold, about half way to the 3rd barrier he's eating dirt and it was not even close to the challenge it once was.

I could somewhat understand players not being able to clear the original. It wasn't even too hard, people just give up easily. As for not clearing it now... Well... I can't even begin to wonder how that's possible

The difficulty of pre-nerfed Steps of Faith isn't even hard enough to be considered "Extreme". People just refuse to put in effort.
