So, this is what I want to share about "Netiquette" I learned from playing a MMO with Japanese as the main source of playerbase.
In an instanced runs or when you get in a party using party finder (similar like that) they usually have at least an auto-chat to say hello/greetings.

Now, you might still say, you don't wanna greet foreign people because you don't greet others when you're in the city, I don't either, I don't greet people in Mor Dhona/Idyllshire/Limsa.

But when the game forces you, actually, you force yourself to use DF/PF to get an instanced runs, all 4 of you are stuck together in that 1 instance until the run ends, This is not the same context as greeting someone in town.

Tbh, I personally don't care either about greetings, I'll just automatically assume someone is more/less friendly from whether they actually use that small shortcut to say hello. what, it's only pressing [Enter]+[Tab]+[2]+[3] = {Hello!}
