Whether you get hate or not, you speak the truth.

I don't see this being true. The reason is the entire game was designed and coded around PS3 being included and the system doesn't seem very flexible. Just for example there were some minor changes talked about before like cool down resets after full team wipes and they couldn't Because the way everything was. When they get rid of PS3 I think the game will improve, but only minorly short of an entire rehaul on the system. And I just don't seem them doing that.
Although very true for "features" in general, I don't think a parser has anything to do with client-side hardware issues, even for a PS3.
The data is already there, it's spit out to the battle tab. Nothing extra has to constantly flow from server to client. Nothing extra has to run on the client.
The server will just read the battle tab info that's already there, do some processing (again, on the server) and then spit a single result out to the client. The single result can be spit out at any time, it's not something that will put any pressure on client hardware.
The battle tab is already sending way more numbers over to the client every fight, during the fight. A parser will only send 1 more, and it can even wait until the character is "out of battle" to do it during "down time." I think the PS3 can handle it. ...I think my calculator could handle it![]()
