Actually even Taledgi didn't know what the echo was even enough to call it by name. He said the Scions were brainwashing the Alliance and we were brought up on charges of Corruption, Espionage, and Conspiracy. Be kinda stupid to yell "They're Witches!! Now BLACK MAGIC is forbidden in Ul'dah but it was very clear none of us were black mages (As the MSQ would treat BLMs as THMs for simplicity's sake).

So the Echo is.... Relatively unknown. The Alliance leaders (Just the leaders), Scions, and Ascians know for sure that we have it. And only the Ascians themselves truly understand what it is. I would personally assume the Elementals are aware of it and by extension the Padjal who commune with them, but the elementals don't seem to want to talk to the WoL so we can't tell 100% if they do or not.
