FFXIV launcher does not retain user name (windows 10)

Since updating to Windows 10, the launcher does not retain my user name, even when the check box is marked. In-game I have logged off in a city and exited the program through the menu (i.e. not a hard close). I suspect this is an issue between the launcher and the new Windows 10. Any fixes in place?

FFXIV Launcher is still using Internet Explorer 11.

However the security in IE11 has been tighten up.

There was a post on how to get "Remember username" working again in Windows 10.

Nevermind.. i was able to get it to work. "http" was not being accepted as a trusted website. I had to uncheck the validation box, then put it in. It worked.
