Now Fell Cleave will bring 5 stacks of Abandon upon use, provide Storm's Eye, Storm's Path, Maim and the Inner Beast buff, restore 100% of damage dealt as HP, extend the duration of Berserk and Bloodbath by 10sec up to a maximum of 60sec, and also spread its damage around the target. Potency increases by 50% for each target hit.

I'm honestly afraid of what 3.2 will entail for tanks. I've tasted the sweet sweet nectar that is the glorious 8k+ Fell Cleave hit, and I'm not sure I want to wait till 3.4 to see it again.
PLS NO NERF.
ANYTHING BUT THE NERFS.

This is super easy to test. Get two paladins of the same race with the same gear (naked, level 1 sword or hauteclaire or whatever). One FoF->flashes, the other Flashes. They should be equal on the hate-o-meter. Also make sure the paladin who uses FoF doesn't engage before using it. Ability use generates hate.
Given that they aren't buffing paladin's dps it's looking more like the other tanks will get hit with the nerf bat in 3.2 with the "damage calculations" changes.

Uhh. I mean aside from Triple Cleave going the way of the dinosaur that's not really a nerf per se. oGCD damage = free. Still waitin' on dat source bruh.
I don't see this happening. They may slightly nerf tank dps across the board but I highly doubt they are going to specifically nerf WAR and/or DRK. The very idea of tanks wielding two-handed weapons dealing more damage makes logical sense and it also fits with the lore and design of the jobs. They would have to actually go in and cut potencies/increase recast times on both of these jobs to actually nerf them. WAR is the heavy hitting berserker and DRK is the inhumanly speedy big-ass sword dude. Nerfing them to PLDs level is categorically comical.

Universal DPS loss like you said. But doing so does put the CDs Rampart/Shadowskin/Vengeance back in the wheelhouse and takes away from things like self-healing. It would 'hurt' WAR more in it's affecting more of their defensive kit, but yea wouldn't be much of a game changer significantly I don't think.
but if they did nerf WAR exclusively in some way:
my guess would be it'd be a minus a % of PDEF/MDEF while in Deliverance /gross

I doubt that based on the DPS checks in Alex; whatever change they make I don't think it'll ultimately affect the tank DPS. For example, they may make STR a useless stat for tanks and make VIT give them attack power at a lower ratio, but then buff the potency on all their stuff so it balances out the same only with VIT in mind. I highly doubt they have a nerf in mind or they'd be discussing it when everyone says PLD is underpowered. Instead, they keep saying "PLD has the best defense" indicating they want DRK and WAR to have the superior offense as a trade.

Please look forward to it!
