    Easy fix for Mudra lag

So I've been playing Ninja a lot recently and I don't have Mudra lag (at least not bad if I do) but it seems like this problem could be fixed pretty easily...

Whenever you hit one of the Mudras the other ones are hit with a cooldown timer of about 1 second or so. Sure you can hit the other Mudra right away and it will cast but it still delays it until the cooldown rotation effect is finished. Is there really any need for this at all?

Why not just remove this effect and let people hit the Mudras one after another as fast as possible. They're on a 30 second cooldown anyways so relieving this 1 second delay really wouldn't offset the balance of anything. It would just let people with Mudra lag play ninja to basically it's full potential. Mudras are supposed to be oGCD anyways so I don't see how it would be a problem to let players weave whatever Mudra they want in like this.

    Mudra cooldown is .5 seconds.

This means you can't macro it. If you do a /wait, the minimum is 1 second, which would waste .5 sec. If you don't /wait, it won't cast.

Removing the cooldown would mean you could just do a macro with each one casting in rapid succession, in which case you might as well just make a separate button for each ninjutsu instead of having mudras to begin with.

If that's the problem they could easily disable the Mudras from being used by macros and then implement this change.

Or another way that I've been thinking a fix to this is insted of you pressing the mudra button to perform a specific ninjutsu, why not just have a 1button ninjustu, example: press huton button and ur character just perform the mudras on its own but still have the same recast for each mudras.

The easiest way would be either do mudras client side so server gets the effect we choiced on our side.... or kick out the mudras all together and just replace them with the jutsu we want but leave the animation of the jutsu beign casted.

Kinda like I want want suiton so I press suiton icon and nin waves his mudras and releases the jutsu.

this could be a way but it will remouve the *special thing* from the class.it give a layer of complexity and learning to the class.you can mess up a rotation if you miss or do the wrong mudra and that what mudra are there for.

The best option would be to set the Mudra off GCD. So only the Ninjutsus have their 0,5s GCD (which easy fit in the 2,5s Base GCD) and you can fire up Mudra right away after the combo. The main delay is actually after the third Ninjutsu, where you use the Mudra and have to wait until the cast animation start, or you get the bunny. So a normal combo needs 3s instead of 2s.

Mind you, there are no combat abilities that are truly off GCD - even "instant" abilities still trigger 0.5s cooldown during which you can't do anything. Those can be blended in with abilities on longer GCDs, which in case of Mudras can't be used since any in-between action means breaking the Mudra. Anyway, this is a deliberate design choice used as a workaround for technical problems, like causing too much traffic by spaming abilities, disrupting animations, etc. For those reasons alone we won't see those 0.5s gone ever.

On top of that even if Mudras could be instantly chained, lag means you still have communication issues with the server. Only thing that might improve it is to have the client handle Mudra input independently from the server. However in theory you could cheat the client application so I doubt SE would ever implement it like that; give people the possibility to cheat and someone will. This is why almost every online game does its calculations server-side.

    No, they don't.
