Favorite scene in game (Spoilers)

What is your favorite scene in game whether it be from the main quest or a side quest?

I actually cried just now seeing lord haucherfant die taking a hit for me to save me. I felt it since he basically was one of our characters best buddies and saved us in our time of need. Very emotional scene especially later when his father is mourning him.

The cut-scene as your character arrives in Azys-Lla. Awesome and moving and powerful and i want to watch it again.

The lv.60 Monk job quest. Your character looked pretty badass. Also the lv.50 Dark Knight job quest.

The death of Tataru Taru!

I know it hasn't happened yet; but those sweet delicious death flags surrounding her in each cut-scene gives me goosebumps. Every single fetch quest she sends me on makes me smile maniacally at just how happy I'll be with her demise. Look, I'm just saying that if Estinien decides to spear her like a lala-kabob all 'Aeris style' I will most likely raise my arms in a V and righteously fist pump the air like I had just cleared A3 Savage.

As the great Shalltear once said: "This amazing presence (death flags) has excited me so much, that my underwear has gone through a bit of a crisis." *ahem* W-wait? Was that the right quote? D-don't judge me! It's not like I actually l-like her or anything! Baka.

Matoya's Cave.

Yes it is a fanservice to FF1 but to put actual effort in bring back a character from FF1 into FF14 as a full 3D Model is just fanservice level of feels.

Arcanist story is the best story from all class quest. And level 50 Goldsmith is really nice. I like the way Giggity talking lol.

Basically everything involving Hraesvelgr. I love dragons entirely too much.

Also a shout out to the post-Vault scene. I knew Haurchefant was going to die because I found myself falling in love with him as a character more and more after 2.0. "Look at Haurchefant", the game told me, "look at him take you in when nobody else will, notice this repeating theme of everyone using you but he doesn't, he lets you stay with his family! He cheers you on when you fight! He gives you a chocobo and is just genuinely happy to be around you! Isn't he great? Isn't he adorable? Love him. Love him so we can take him from you!"


Still when it happened it stung a bit. The facial animations in that scene are heart breaking. I really do think Gale lost his friend and lover there. It made me feel enough emotion that I still hope Ser Zephirin is out there so I can fulfill my vow of having his heart for what he did. I'll punt this game straight into Revengeance territory with what I'd do to him... (link is bloodtastic btw)

I actually think that was the cutscene I hated most since FFXIV's release... In 2.55 we were embraced with the thought that 1.0 characters no longer had plot armor; they could die. Finding out the Sultana is actually alive completely destroyed all credibility for future character "deaths." It ruined the only emotional moment in the 2.x series, and gave all of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn "Get out of Death" free cards. Haurchefaunt is now going to come back as a Dragon or something silly.
