Please add some kind of multi-glamour system.

This is primarily for tanks and to an extent healers. But it's really annoying that one of my jobs has to look really mismatched or out of place so that my other job can look how I want it.

For example I want my PLD to look like a knight, my WAR to look like a barbarian and my DRK to look like... A dark knight...

But seeing as all three are using the asuran chest piece I can do one of those and then the other 2 jobs just have to deal with it. And even if I use job specific gear I lose the ability to dye the base piece.

The current glamour system is extremely inflexible in a game where multiple jobs use the same piece.

I'm more dissappointed that PLD and WAR (and now DRK) all share the same gear... It's not like all DPS get the same gear, why do this to our tanks? It's nice they did this with the AF gear but outside that, I cant think of any specific gear that is only for one of the three tanks. (aside from PvP)

Well, currently the top gear is the Job specific gear (unless you're looking at Alex savage gear), so currently this is less of an issue. But just like with AF i45/50 and AF i90, we'll soon go back to the top gear being shared for tanks, healers, casters and ranged physical. (Melee DPS, on the other hand, still get separate gear sets... *grumbles* MNK/DRG share Str-base, and NIN is Dex-base... but MNK/NIN share def/mdef whereas DRG has higher def. So yay, they get to be speshal snowflakes when it comes to gear.)

This has been an issue for me even before HW, especially since I had all tanks, healers and casters at level 50. Sure, I very rarely used half of them, but I still liked the gearing up and glamouring bits of it ^^; I'd even have to resort to carrying separate gear pieces at times (keeping one of them slightly lower ilvl, usually) just to be able to use a "job appropriate" glamour.

TL;DR version: Yes please ;_; I'd like to be able to have job-specific glamours without having to use separate gearsets when the "top" gearset is shared.

Casters (BLM/SMN), Ranged DpS (BRD/MCH) and the 3 Healers also share gear like the tanks do. DRG, MNK and NIN are the odd balls.

MNK and NIN (the light melee DpS) share gear models but don't use the same stuff because SE doesn't want high level pieces to have both Str and Dex. If any new Str or Dex based light melee jobs was added most of the MNK/NIN gear would be shared with them.

DRG has its exclusive "Medium" gear (with models that float between being shared with the Tanks and shared with the light melees) because it is the only "Heavy melee DpS" right now. If there was another heavy melee job (such as a Samurai DpS) then it would be shared with them.

Still sucks though. I don't mind a bunch of it being shared but we need more variety that is unique to the Jobs they are supposed to be equipped on. In an unlimited resource world, It would be nice to have a Job specific, race specific, gender specific outfit (Aside from the starting gear), but the cost to develop this would be probably more than its worth.

Would have been nice to be able to save 'glamour sets' the same way we can save 'gear sets'. Then every job could keep its individual look.

I'd like one of two things to happen, the ability to glamour jobs separately (especially now that we have TWO artifact sets), or for them to release job-specific gear more frequently.

All the DoW DPS pretty much always get unique sets and get to look cool. Why do casters, healers, and tanks have to share nearly every time? It doesn't make sense to me. It may be more convenient but I would gladly trade that convenience just for my scholar and astrologian to not look the same.

This. @_@ Paper doll/wardrobe system would solve this problem, and then we could create multiple costumes and switch between them freely and... gah it would be so much better.
