    [Mac OS X] App won't open

    While I know OS X sales have stopped I decided to keep the OS X License. Now I recently got a new MacBook Pro Reitna 15.4" with AMD Radeon R9 M370X GPU. I downloaded the app provided by my purchase order. When I try to open it, the app hangs and won't open at all. Is there a new installer I should be downloading or is there something I should do to make sure the app opens?

    P.S: I tried looking through the forums but couldn't find anything related to this issue.

    Edit: I was able to open it after copying the app from my Mac Pro to my MacBook Pro. The fully upgraded client opened without problems on the new computer. While not beign the perfect solution, it worked for now. Still I'm curious about the right procedure to solve this.

    Can't use the Migration Assistant. Besides FFXIV this Macbook won't share much with my other Mac. Their purposes are not connected.
