Glamouring, say, Artemis Bow Nexus instead of Yoichi Bow Zeta ... is this possible?

Let me preface by saying I, sadly, do not have the Yoichi Bow Zeta. I am hesitant to turn Artemis into Yoichi because, well, I prefer the look of Artemis. Artemis' look befits a Bard, whereas Yoichi looks more run-of-the-mill Archer. It is undoubtedly beautiful, but in my opinion it doesn't look bardic.

That being said, I haven't been able to find the precise answer to my title example beyond what just sounds like speculation. And it is an example. Just replace it with, say, Thyrus Nexus to Nirvana Zeta, and such.

Is there a way to obtain the Artemis Bow Nexus once again if you've already upgraded it to the Yoichi Bow and beyond? Just a flat out talk to NPC thing, or vendor purchase, or what have you. Just for glamour purposes. I mean, I know you can buy the base version of the Artemis Bow from the Calamity Salvager, but are you able to go through the questline once again to upgrade it?

Asking before I go ahead and upgrade the bow in anticipation of more relic questline down the road lol

You can obtain duplicates of relics from previous relic steps by purchasing them from Gerolt's assistant. However, you can only buy the relics you have only completed for that specific step. So say you have obtained the Zodiac bow; you can purchase any of the relics from the previous stages up till the zodiac bow. The base stats are much lower than that of the original relic.

Once you upgrade your Bow, go to the <Calamity Salvager> and select {Quest Rewards} i think it is. It give syou the option to purchase your Relic for a few thousand Gil. It should work for the Nexus stage too.

Feel free to correct me though. I havent done any of the Atma stuff because RNG continues to hate me.

Yep looks like it, I'd test it myself but I've had the Zeta for sometime. Getting Zeta now shouldn't be too big of a hassle now Ni'ko, might as well complete it and buy back the Nexus if you want the achievement and title.

Any previous phase of the relic that you have obtained before can be purchased at Gerolts Workshop for a few hundred gil. (This was a newish addition to the game.)


What you receive is a Relic Imitation with level 1 stats which is used for the sole purpose of Glamoring. For example, I completed the Paladins Zodiac quest line but I really don't like the look of the Black / Goldish glow of the sword and shield in the final step. I went to Gerolt and purchased an imitation copy of one of the previous steps - Nexus. Using its Glamour my Sword and Shield now have runes and glow bright White like the nexus step.

So, I gave it another look. You need to have at least one Zeta equipped or in your inventory to access the shop. Otherwise, Drake won't let you purchase the replicas. But, it allows you to purchase any past relic of the weapon you have; including the unfinished weapons. However, it doesn't seem like it allows you to obtain Zeta replicas, nor does it allow you to purchase other zodiac replicas of other jobs that you have yet to get a Zeta for.

Light farming is very annoying now that Reddit window tracker is no longer reliable. The rest should be easy, except the fate-waiting game for Animus.
