    Romaji just means you're typing it in the latin alphabet FYI.

    AKA saying "Kuromahou" is romaji and 黒魔法 is not.

    Also this is a quote from the naming conventions post:

    The names that we’ve decided to go with for Final Fantasy XIV, are based off of ones that were prevalent between the 16th and 18th centuries.
    So neither "Raion" or "Kuromahou" would be within the normal Raen naming conventions.

    As for Xaela, they are based off Mongolian so none of this even applies.
