I don't know about all of you, but I for one am rather sentimental about items that I've worked very hard to get. Whether it be artifact armor, armor I get from trading tomestones, or raid armor from Crystal Tower or Coil, I like holding onto rare armor long after I've outgrown it and it's served its purpose. What I do not like, however, is the space it takes up in my retainers, and this is coming from a guy who primarily uses one combat-oriented job.

This game offers very little in the way of offering storage for higher-level armor. So far the only storeable high-level armor that I know of is the original artifact armors in 2.0, but even that becomes unstoreable once it becomes augmented, as if you're being punished for success. I really don't see why these equipment sets can't be stored. Even FFXI had a system for storing high-level armor sets aside from artifact armor, why can't FFXIV? I don't know about you, but I don't want to have to choose between throwing out my old armor that I put so many hours into getting and forking over some cash for an extra retainer. Not to mention the fact that I am an RPer, so having a big wardrobe is somewhat important to me.

I don't know if anyone's ever brought anything like this up before. The only other thread relating to this topic that I've seen is one that someone made regarding holiday items that are still unstoreable, which makes me somewhat unconfident that the dev team will ever get around to expanding their list of storeable items beyond holiday items. But I do hope this thread gets more attention because I think this is rather important quality-of-life mechanic that they should implement for respect of long-time players.
