Retainer ventures we need to talk.

The only retainer I am sending on quick ventures is my lvl25 fisher that I recently bought and she brings me all kind of fish/housing items and the occasional green gear.
My lvl 60 pugilist (ilvl 170), miner and botanist are too busy hunting/gathering mats for me and doing the 18h one for when I go to sleep.

Am I the only one that tells my retainers what to get?

have item level 120 on two retainers and have sent them on quick exploration at least 10x each and still haven't gotten a special dye.

My lvl 11 retainer got me a Mogwand from quick exploration.

Yeah, the percentages for rare items should scale with iLvl in some way. Both my retainers are in full Valerian gear and they're still bringing back rubbish most of the time.

At least I have about 600 ventures sitting around 'cause there's nothing else to do with seals.

I had 2,500 of them stocked for Heavensward (for some reason I thought it was going to take forever to level both my retainers to 60). I've burned through maybe 300. XD

If you have a crafter and/or gatherer, there are manuals you can get from the GC that increase your EXP gain. Be prepared to buy a lot, as the item expires if you gain a certain amount of EXP. I've been stocking up on those to avoid stocking up on unnecessary ventures.

I find it terrifying that our retainers can solo primals while we need a group. Maybe the other NPC's should be calling them..

All retainers band together and do that, not solo.. yea, that must be it. *cries*
