Flying a different mount while chocobo is on your party list.

Some of you might have encountered this as well.

While your Chocobo was in your party and after talking to a certain NPC.
You were able to fly a dragon mount while still having your Chocobo on your party list.

Usually, when your chocobo is out in the open fighting with you, you are not able to call upon a different mount to ride/fly unless it's the same Chocobo in your party.

In this video, it shows that I was able to fly the dragon mount while still having the Chocobo "out" meaning, the Chocobo in my party.

It just makes me think... if it is possible to ride a different mount while your chocobo is in your party, why is it disabled by default?

I know that this was a possible through a glitch?, but the question still stands.

I had that happen when I saw the CS. My guess is that the underlying code accounts for it and tucks them away just like an egi, but for whatever reason they aren't allowing us to do it manually.

The only thing I can think of really is they found some kind of exploit that can be done during this period and thus allowing it to be done is a danger until they figure out a way to avoid it from happening all together....least that is my idea cus as its been said it obviously can be done.

It's a one time thing, that is gone after you dismount. Most won't even see it because you need to drop your chocobo the quest before it to enter an instance, and there is no fighting between then and getting on this mount.
