Easy, just make it a toggle-able setting. LotRO had ambient birds that would fly around in the distance as a setting, if your rig could handle it, great, game looked even better. If your rig slowed to a crawl, oh well, turn it off and back to playing. If they can't find a way for ps3 to run it, just make it so it doesn't show on that client.

True, but i think there is more on to that like extra stress on the servers etc.... They could do the same with HD textures.
After playing Skyrim with the birds of Skyrim mods etc... It is just beautiful.

Luckily ADblock can block stuff like that . Too many times there is flashy or moving gifs on these forums. Although that current one is pretty fun at first
