How to spend esoterics [PLD]

Weapon is unquestionably the first buy.

After that though, I wouldn't get the shield if you can get hold of the Hive Shield which is pretty much on par with the esoterics one (slightly worse stats but blocks more via sheltron/bulwark on important physical hits). The shield should be one of the last items you upgrade IF you can get the Hive Shield - if you dont see yourself doing Ravana Ex soon though then go ahead and get the eso one.

As for the other items, don't worry about secondary stats really - item level is king right now and you'll end up with loads more skillspeed and parry than you want regardless of what items you have. Only thing I'd say is that the 190 Pants and Boots have fantastic stats so I'd definitely get the Alexander LEgs and upgrade Chest/Hat/Gloves via esoterics before them. I agree with Iagainsti that Chest is the best buy after weapon because it'll last the longest.

Don't get Esoterics Accessories until you've upgraded most of your left side - alex 1/2 Bolts will see you fine with 190 accessories until you're done with your left side. Accessory upgrades arent as efficient in raw stat boost as armor because you're only upgrading one primary stat, and tanks make great use out of strength and vit.
