Loss of stats with new gear

So before I started to post in the bug part of the forums I thought I'd run this past you guys in case I'm just to tired and can't think straight.

So before I started upgrading I had 904 Dex and then I got a new neck and arm piece going from 170 to 180 but when I went to look at my Dex again it was at 898.

Now I 100% sure this shouldn't happen but then again I've really tried so yeah.

The gear I upgraded was the Asuran Tekko of Scouting (170) and the Asuran Necklace of Aiming (170) to it's 180 version

any help would be nice

Were you in a party before and after you checked the stat difference or maybe you changed another piece of gear by accident?

This definitely should NOT happen. Why because upgraded items have the exact same kind of stats just with a little bit more Boost all of them.
Yasha Tekko Dex 46 --> Asuran Tekko Dex 48. Yasha Necklace of Aiming Dex 35 ---> Asuran Necklace of Aiming Dex 36

You may be right there, I can't remember if I checked my Dex while I was in a dungeon or not. most likely yes. but on that subject of Party boost, what is the % of boost you get while in a party?

3% more dex in a party, since your class provides the Dex party buff by default.s

That's likely the source of your discrepency.

And having chocobo out counts as a party, so you get that bonus dex as ninja even if you are "alone".
